An internationally renowned researcher, he has lead the way in audience development in his work for Wallace Studies in Building Arts Audiences. He has demonstrated how research and changing thinking and planning can grow audiences in some of the most niche areas. Even with arts genres thought to be the biggest challenge to fill, Dr Harlow’s work changed the status quo and brought new audiences where they were least expected.
