The 2021 Pinnacle Awards for Excellence
The Presenter of the Year and the Producer of the Year in WA.
The Pinnacle Awards celebrate the best in our business. They are open for you to nominate any and all performing arts presenters and producers in WA.
The criterion for the award is “Excellence” in all its forms. Your nominations can be based on anything you feel meets this criterion be it through your experience of your nominees through a partnership or collaboration, of a venue you have been to on a tour, or of an artist/company that you hosted/presented. It can even be based on your knowledge of that nominee and their contribution to the sector or their community.
You can nominate up to three producers or presenters and your reasons at the survey link at the bottom of the page, it doesn’t matter who you are you can nominate both or either. It’s very important to give the reasons for the nomination.
In this case ‘producer’ can apply to an individual artist or independent group, a small to medium organisation, or a major. While ‘presenter’ applies to venues in the metro or outer metro areas of Perth and regional venues throughout the State. It could also include an organisation regularly presenting work in many venues or without a venue.
The top four nominations in each category will be assessed by a panel to choose the 2021 recipients. The presentation of The Pinnacles will be made at WA Showcase 2021.
Whilst you could nominate yourself, we suggest this is a chance to recognise excellence in others. The industry is keen to recognise excellent work being done in building inclusive, thriving communities enlivened with rich cultural expression and engagement right across Western Australia.
Please note that 2020’s winners Sensorium Theatre and Rave About Arts (Ravensthorpe Regional Arts Council) are not eligible for nomination or to win in 2021.
Honour your peers and make your nominations now.
